About Us

Who is HREA CDC?

Houston Real Estate Association Community Development Corporation (HREA CDC) is a 501(c)3 or 501 (c)(3) Community Organization, whose mission is to enhance the economic improvement of the Greater Houston Metropolitan BIPOC Communities.

What role will you or your Company commit to the Greater Houston Metropolitan BIPOC Communities desire to be more, contribute more, to empower more, to encourage more of all area Citizens. It was recently stated, “if YOU are NOT Changing it, YOU are Choosing it”; so we’re asking YOUR help to CHANGE IT for the better.

HREA CDC’s strategies revolve around Education, specifically Financial, Occupational, and Entrepreneurial Education for all segments of our Communities. We are working with area financial institutions to create and administer a SPCP or Special Purpose Credit Program for Homeownership and Business Development.

Educating your future employees and consumers will empower them to have greater impact on your Company’s future value and resources within the Greater Houston area and beyond. Better Financial Habits leads to Improved Financial Independence and flexibility.

The Pillars of the BIPO Communities

The Pillars of the BIPOC Community Program revolve around Five (5) key areas: Education, Scholarship, Community Outreach, Leadership Development, and Philanthropy. There will be a variety of programs to support each key area, many which may be designed and directed by the C.I.A. members and their organizations.

Purpose

The Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, literary and educational purposes as defined in Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The specific purpose of the organization is to provide free educational courses to homeowners and potential homeowners and to provide decent housing that is affordable to low and moderate income people.

Mission

The Mission of HREA CDC is to create Business and Community Partnerships that will empower Houston Area BIPOC communities to grow and improve the Quality of Living for Diverse Populations through Economic and Financial Outreach to Our Students, Families, and Business Stakeholders.

Vision

HREA CDC vision is to have a positive impact on the Community by sharing the Educational Connections between Real Estate Ownership and sustainability, Financial Self Sufficiency, the Wealth Gap, and Community Development to the benefits in their lives and the lives of Future generations.
